Floy Dean Baugher

Floy was born in Limestone Co., AL on June 28, 1943 to Floyd Houston and Georgie Lou Chapman Johnson. She was a former employee of GM and a member of the Church of Christ. Floy loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly cherishing every moment with her family. She also found peace being outside gardening, looking at the flowers, and working with her cattle. Floy’s personal motto was “rope, ride, hammer, and paint” and painting was probably her favorite hobby. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 53 years Larry Gilbert Baugher; sisters Marcelle Williams, Helen Abernathy, Sharon Stephenson; brother Houston Johnson.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Floy is survived by her son Christopher Baugher (Willa) of Prospect; sisters Rachel Webb of Frankewing and Brenda Johnson of Athens; grandchildren Grayson (Brackin), Shane, Aiden; great grandchildren Jaxxon and Everley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
