She was born in Pulaski, TN, on June 25, 1930 and served in the United States Army. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Taylor and Vera Lee Phelps Hewgley, her husband, Harvey McClain, her son, Stephen McClain, her brothers, Ferrell , Elbert, Kenneth, Austin Gilbert, and Robert Hewgley, her sisters, Elise Hewgley, Lee Harwell, and Geneva Clements.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
Survivors include her grandson, Steve McClain and Melissa, of Ohio, her brother, Mark Hewgley of Pulaski, her sister, Lucille Warren of Lynchburg, and her great grandchild, McKenzie McClain.
