Charlie Will Thornton

He was born on April 18, 1930, at Goodspring, TN. He was retired from Pulaski Rubber Company and a farmer. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church and preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Allen and Dorothy Irene Brewer Thornton, his brothers, Buford, Fred, Clayton and Odus Thornton and 4 great grandsons.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 11, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held at the Church an hour prior to the Funeral Service. Burial to follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Thornton of Goodspring, TN, his son, Chuck Thornton and Amy of Dyer, TN, his daughters, Pam Thornton Scott and Tim of Goodspring, TN, Renee Chisholm and Pat of Youngsville, NC, Judy Long and Tommy of Goodspring, TN, brother, William Robert (Sweet Pea) and Adena Thornton of Lawrenceburg, TN, sister in law, Evelyn (Tootsie) Thornton of Goodspring, TN, special friends Joe and Carol Townsend of Anderson, AL, grandchildren, Mandy Horsewood, Timmy Scott, Billy Long, Eric Goolsby, Kyle Goolsby, Sarah Catherine Thornton, Siler Thornton, and 5 great grandchildren.
