Wago was born in Chicago, IL to Leopoldo and Alberta Trujillo on February 12th, 1955. He was an Army veteran serving from 1975-1978. He went to Lakeview High School. Wago loved fishing, being out in the sun, all things Christmas, and his beloved Chicago Cubs. Most of all, he loved his family and to make everyone laugh. He never met a stranger and always wanted to be the life of the party. Everyone that knew him has a Wago story.
Wago was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Irma Trujillo (nee Fernandez) and his brother in law Dave Ramsey. He is survived by his daughter Tonia(Michael) Pawlik; granddaughter Ava Pawlik; siblings Raymond(Cathy) Hernandez; Angela(Carl) Coppola, Leopold Trujillo, Patricia Ramsey, & Terrie (Shirley) Trujillo; nephews and nieces Joseph, Nicki, Cher, Gino, Paul, Stephanie, Leo Jr, Brandy, Daniel, Aaron, Matthew, Elijah, & Jack.
