Aunt Mary and Jody.  Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.  Very sorry and surprising to hear.  As you see, since I was young, he was like a tall tale to me.  This guy can't be real.  To be around him as a kid, with all his stories and crazy sayings, was pretty magical.  I will miss his wit.  No one was better with a one liner/saying/or joke no matter the situation or event.  He had an energy about him, made you want to sit and listen to him.  
You were his rock Mary and the love you had for him was very easy to see.  
Like everyone, I was blessed to have known him.   Thinking about you both a lot these past few days.

It would be impossible to measure the impact that he, as well as you Mary, have had on our lives. I cannot think about him without smiling. We love you Uncle Bill, rest easy.

My condolences, Mary.  I can only remember Bill in those "good years" of so long ago.  I knew he was ill for the past many years;  he has earned his place in our Eternal Home.

My sincere condolences to Mary and Bill's entire family.  Bill was instrumental in hiring me as a Counselor.  It was a job I dearly loved for more than two decades.  Thank you, Bill, for that opportunity.  You made me a very happy man the day you told me I had been chosen for the job.  God bless your soul, and may you rest in peace.

Mary, You have my sincere condolence about your husband that passed away . Words are hard to come out from me at this time.  I really did enjoy talking to him when i did several years ago. We sat down and really had a great time to talk about everything. God Bless you and your family at this terrible time.

I was one of the many youth that benefited from Dr. Hodges untiring advocacy, dedication and compassion during his time as a school counselor at Roncalli. He always took time to listen, encourage and offer hope.  I was again blessed as a high school senior when he taught peer counseling skills to help establish peer counseling in high schools. I have thought about Dr. Hodges throughout these years and the positive impact he has made on my life. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for what he did for me.

I was a very shy 15 year old when we moved from near South High School in 1965 and did not know anyone at Central.  Bill Hodges was the first person I talked to at the school.  Although, I never talked with him much after that during my 3 years at Central, I can see him in my mind today walking around the school or standing in the lobby of Central.
