Warren W. Hackney, 91, passed away November, 8, 2023. He was the husband of Nancy Hackney. They shared 70 years of marriage together. Born in West Hollywood, California, he was the son of Bill and Margaret Hackney. He worked at Jones Fish Hatchery for 40+ years. He enjoyed singing, dancing, fishing, hunting, science, and astronomy. He will be remembered for always telling jokes and making people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Hackney; children Margaret Felder (Lancy Felder), John Hackney, Sarah Phelps (Dave Phelps), David Hackney (Randy Karr); grandchildren Tanya Humphrey (George Humphrey), Eric Felder, Philip Phelps (Kelly Phelps), Amanda Boone (Nick Boone), Juanita Hackney; great grandchildren Dillon Rankin, Alora Rankin, Halin Humphrey, Kelly Felder, Riley Felder, Gabriel Phelps, Emily Boone; other family members David Hinton and Nicole Hausler. The memorial service will be held on November 28, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at McCandless Veterans Home.
