Violet Champion

Violet J. Champion, age 94, was born March 6, 1925, in Maypearl, TX, to her parents, Amanda and Ezra Sampson. She passed away May 5, 2019, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Violet was preceded in death by her husband, James Dorman Champion; sons, James Dorman Champion, Jr., Edward Champion and Dale Champion. She is survived by her loving daughter, Violet J. Harris and her husband, Dale A. Harris; daughter, Elaine Casey; son, Jerry Dan Champion and his wife, Connie Champion; grandchildren, William Harris, Richard Harris and his wife, Emmie, Robert Harris and his wife, Val, Alacia Harris, Matthew Casey, Ellen Champion, Shelly Champion, Joe Champion and his wife, Antionette, Jim Champion and his wife, Lisa, Jerry Dan Champion, Jr. and his wife, Darla and Amanda Newsome and her husband, Timothy; several great grandchildren; brother, Joe Dale Sampson; sister, Jean Fewell; brother, John Sampson; and her sister, Elsie Calhoun.

The family of Violet will receive friends and family during a Visitation at Imperial Funeral home in Pueblo on Thursday, May 16th from 6-7:30pm.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 17th at 10:30 am at Imperial Funeral Home in Pueblo.
