Vicky Diane Tortessi

Vicky (Georgie) Diane Tortessi, 68, passed away November 22, 2021 after battling numerous medical issues for many years. Survived by her mother Sybil Tortessi; siblings Tony (Barbara) Tortessi, Ginger Flickinger and Frank (Melinda) Tortessi. Nieces and nephews Gina (Brian) Smith, Angela (Gino) Clementi, Jillian Flickinger, Taylor Tortessi, and Madison Tortessi (Travis Arguello); great nieces and nephews Ambrey Smith, Kylie Smith, Isabella Clementi, Dominic Clementi, and Bentley Griggs. Preceded in death by her father Anthony Tortessi, grandparents Lee and Frances (Greco) Tortessi, Leroy and Lector (Lane) Youngblood, and brother-in-law Tim Flickinger. Vicky was born on July 4, 1953 in Pueblo, graduated from Pueblo County High School, worked for Safeway and Bedard and Associates for her dear friend Patty Bedard. Vicky was very involved in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life for over 24 years. She was also secretary for the Retired Safeway Employees Club. Vicky loved Donald Duck, and collected more than 2000 items of Donald Duck memorabilia. She loved family gatherings, especially spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. Vicky enjoyed playing board games and cards with family and friends, decorating her house for all holidays, and never missed watching the Rockies and Avalanche on TV. In her memory, please wear Rockies or Avalanche colors to the funeral service on Thursday December 9, 2021 at 11am at TG McCarthy Funeral Home, followed by a committal service at Roselawn Cemetery.
