Tito Isidro Almeda was born on January 4, 1951 in Pueblo Colorado. Mr. Almeda was an employee of District 60 Transportation, was a US Army Veteran, a former employee of CF&I, and of the State of Colorado State Hospital.
Mr. Almeda was a devoted dad, granddad, and husband. He served 20 plus year in the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Benning, Yuma Proving Grounds, and Ft. Carson to name a few. He was a marathon runner in his younger years and after retirement he liked going to auctions, traveling, and spending time with his family. He was proud of his grandchildren: Andrew Bailey, Tessa Almeda, Tito Almeda III, Matthew Almeda, Shane Altis Jr., Ashley Fontana, Esperanza Almeda, Tillie Almeda, Denis Hines, Tiffaney Hines, Kyle Calime, Khloe Calime. Great Grandchildren: Ava Almeda, Tinsley Fontana, and Levi Fontana.
He departed this life on April 16, 2024 at Parkview Hospital and he leaves to celebrate his life, his daughters Cynthia (Jim) Bailey, Barbara (Jeremy) Higgs, Mary (Demetry) Calime, stepsons Christopher Martinez, Larry Chavez, Rob Chavez, his sister Jessica (Felipe) Flores, and his brothers Michael (Kathy) Almeda, and Fransico (Estella) Almeda. He is survived by his ex-wife and friend Betty Montez and by numerous nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Almeda is preceded in death by his wife Joanne (Vigil) Almeda, his son Tito Almeda Jr., his parents Jesus and Pauline Almeda, his sister Teresa Almeda, and his brother David Almeda.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 421 Clark St. Pueblo, CO 81003, April 26th, 2024. A rosary will begin at 9:30 am followed by the mass at 10:00am.
