Scott "Ziggy" passed away in the early morning of March 28th at home in Pueblo surrounded by his family. He was born in Lamar Colorado, but lived in Pueblo where he attended South High School. He was a Navy veteran where he was stationed on the U.S.S. Sierra that took him around the world. He continued his pursuit of travel by becoming a truck driver until he attended Pueblo Community College to acquire his nursing degree working years to get the experience to teach others. One of his greatest strengths was his ability to take care of those around him. Scott had many great talents such as being able to fix and operate all types of mechanical equipment, remolding and repairing homes, and always showing up for family and friends. He was truly a pillar of friendship and would not hesitate to tell someone the truth yet be the first to offer a helping hand when needed the most. Scott enjoyed fishing, camping and riding his motorcycle. He was always riding for honorable events with his very close friends (Ohana). Scott is survived by his loving Wife Deb, brother Jim, and children Janice and Kevin, Shonie and Anthony, Jamie, Sherri, Bryan, Scott Jr. and Allie, Frank and Alex, Devin, Kiaya, And Domeka. He also had many grandchildren, and surrogate children, and his second family he rode with. The family would like to thank Sangre de Cristo Hospice for all the great care that Scott received from them. A Celebration of life for Scott will be on April 13, 2024 at Imperial Funeral Home at 11:00a.m.
