Ruth J. Baca, 90, passed away July 8, 2016. Born January 9, 1926 to Isabel and Eulogia Lopez. Preceded in death by her husband Aloysius “Luis” Baca; son William Lopez; brother Frank Jimenez; sisters Lupe Keifer, Dora Dell, Mary Lara. Survived by her children Patricia Archuleta, Lucille (Gary) Martinez, Leo (Missy) Baca, Christine Poindexter, Mark, Rueben and Samuel (Darla) Baca; daughter in-law, Isabel Lopez; also survived by numerous grand, great and great-great grandchildren, whom Ruth loved dearly, and her companion and special friend “Termite”. Ruth was a hard working woman; she was very loving and giving. She worked for many years as a fry cook at the Townhouse and Fredericks Restaurant on the corner of 8th and Santa Fe. The Baca family would like to thank everyone who provided assistance and would especially like to express their appreciation to the hospice nurses and staff in our mother’s time of need.
