Rose Marie Reid

Rose Marie Reid passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023 at the age of 95 in Pueblo, Colorado, where she resided the entirety of her life. She was born March 21, 1928 to Leonard Carleo and Rose Carlo in Pueblo, Colorado. Rose was a retired bookkeeper at the Pueblo YMCA. After retirement, she filled her days with water aerobics, reading, serving others through Meals on Wheels, generously providing her favorite baked goods to friends and family, and volunteering with elementary school students. Above all, she loved and was devoted to her family. She actively participated in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, modeling the importance of faith in all of their lives. God’s greatest blessing in her eyes was being able to be present for all the major milestones of her large family.

Preceded in death by her first husband Jack Sneddon, her second husband Stuart J. Reid, and siblings Lou (Lorraine) Carleo, Roxy (Mary) Carleo, James (Rose) Carleo, Leonard (Geraldine) Carleo, and Josephine (Bud) Snider. She is survived by children Bob (Denise) Sneddon, Becky (Kurt) Sneddon, and Jackie (Terry) Lockwood, as well as 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren survive her.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Primrose Assisted Living in Pueblo, Colorado for the loving care they provided her and Abode Hospice for her final days.

In lieu of flowers and food, contributions may be made in Rose’s name to the Pueblo YMCA, 3200, E. Spaulding Avenue, Pueblo, Colorado 81008. Memorial Service, 10:00 am, Friday March 31, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Parish, 1708 Horseshoe Drive, Pueblo, Colorado 81001.
