Robert Eugene Theis, Sr.

Robert Eugene Theis Sr, born on August 28th, 1978, passed on December 14th, 2023, at 45 years old. He is survived by his wife of 25 years: Dawn Theis and his four children: Tyler Starr, Robert Theis, Adriauna Hoffman, and Allison Theis. He was born in Colorado Springs where he later met his beautiful wife, Dawn. They were married on September 11th, 1999, and built a family they could call their own. They moved to Pueblo, Colorado to raise their children and grow roots within the community.

Rob enjoyed spending time with his family, playing games, listening to music, and going on small “adventures.” He also loved to drive around listening to his favorite songs. There was never a dull moment when it came to him, he was silly in a way that gave smiles and laughter to the ones around him. The room was always warmer and lighter with his presence. He always paid attention to the small things in life that many would overlook.

He was a firm believer that there was beauty in the struggle, and he worked hard so his loved ones could live with ease. For over 25 years he installed and repaired home flooring and liked to call himself the “Carpet Slinger." He showed love and compassion, even on his bad days, and would work his hardest to make you smile on your worst days. He will always be with us in spirit, gone but never forgotten. Until we meet again.

A graveside service for Robert will be held Friday, December 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Imperial Memorial Gardens Funeral, Cremation & Cemetery, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
