Robert J. Teel, 90, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2018, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on October 25, 1927, in Stevens, Nebraska. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He spent 11 years farming in Nebraska before he moved his family to Pueblo, CO in 1957. He was an avid reader. He really enjoyed doing yardwork and crossword puzzles. Bob spent numerous years as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his retirement. He was part of organizations such as, Buttons and Bows & Leather and Lace Square Dance Clubs; operating engineer Local # 9; and Meals on Wheels. Preceded in death by his wife, Eloris Teel; longtime companion, Geraldine Thomas; and son, Rodney A. Teel; his parents and brothers. Survived by children, Randy Teel, Janet (Sam O’Neill) Teel, and Michael Teel; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Per Robert’s request, no services will be held.
