Born in Pueblo, CO, he was the son of James and Ellen Sutton.
He graduated from Central High School. He worked at CF&I for 42 years. He enjoyed racing, watching the Colorado Rockies and playing the organ.
He will be remembered for his unpredictable sense of humor, his enthusiasm for numbers, and his dedication to his family.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi Sutton; Children, Bret (Brandie), Bryan (Nina), and Kindra (Tony); Grandchildren, Drennan, Emiree (Darrek), Shelby (Seth), Mackenzie, Vinny, Shylo, and Irie.
Services for Mike will be held on March 31 at 10am at Our Lady of the Meadows Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mike’s name to PAWS for Life of Pueblo.
