Raymond Munoz, 80, after a courageous battle with cancer passed away on October 15, 2011. He was born and raised in Pueblo, lived in California for the majority of his adult life, and returned home to Pueblo five years ago. Ray was one of thirteen children born to Francisco A. and Louise P. Munoz, who preceded him in death along with his sister, Alice (Haze) DeLatorre; brothers, Richard, John (Lil), Salvador and Tommy Munoz; and in-laws, Juvie Munoz and Mike Apodaca. He is survived by his wife, Annie; and children, Linda (Russ) McHatton, Debbie (Kevin) Moore, Sandy (Rick) Biagioni, Mike (Laurel) Munoz, Mark (Marcie) Munoz, Kris (Larry) Frost, Patsy Lee, Nina Knight, Rayo (Anna) Aguilera, Dave (Christi) Aguilera; brothers, Alfred, Frank (Chris) and Tony (June) Munoz; sisters, Pauline (Richard) Juarez, Gloria Munoz, Angelina (Frank) Verna, Sally Apodaca; sisters-in-law, Lucy, Dora and Nancy Munoz; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, along with countless other friends and family members. Ray loved cowboy shows, playing cards, going for drives in the mountains and spending time with his family and friends. Friends and family are invited to attend a Rosary, 7 p.m., Thursday, and Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Friday, October 21, 2011, both to be held at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, 307 E. Mesa Ave., with burial to follow at Imperial Cemetery. Family and friends will be received at the church hall following the interment.
