Randy is survived by his lovely wife of 56 years, Roslyn Prater, and his three children, Randy Joe Prater of Colorado City, CO, Amanda (Charles) Wickam of Castle Rock, CO, and Jennifer (Michael) Rounds of Pueblo West, CO. He cherishes his eight grandchildren, Brandon Vigil, Morgon Tooley-Prater, Jordon Tooley-Prater, Jessica (Jason) Tong, Jerrica Burke, Brooklyn Rounds, Michael W Rounds, and Logan Rounds. He loves his sister, Alice Moody. He has numerous nephews and nieces.
Randy proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Navy from 1966 to 1970 on the USS Ranger CV-61 and USS America CV-66.
Randy joined and was proud to be part of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 9 since 1971. He was a member for over 51 years.
Randy loved being outdoors. He mastered the skills of fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. He had the patience to teach all his knowledge of trades to those who were willing to learn. He always helped those in need and had a huge heart.
Randy (Dad) will greatly missed by all who knew him. We love you forever and always.
A memorial service for Randall will be held Friday, February 24, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado 81005.
