Patti was born in Dennison, TX to John and Mary Harmon on February 10th, 1949. She is survived by her mother Mary Harmon, brother Michael Harmon, son Michael McQueen, daughter in law Felicia McQueen, granddaughter Jordan McQueen and daughter Kristin Magby. Patti was preceded in Death by her father John Harmon and husband Arnold Magby.
After graduating from Eisenhower High School (Class 1967). Patti went on to pursue a career in elementary school education and administration where she found a passion for artful learning that she continued past retirement. Patti won the 2015 Apple Award for Administrator of the year in 2015. She reached so many lives in her career from the students to all her amazing colleagues.
After retiring, Patti moved back down to her ranch in Pueblo, CO where she was able to fully pursue her horse dreams. In the horse community Patti was a mentor, motivator, supporter and loved her horse friends like they were family. She was happiest when she was covered in horse hair and surrounded by her friends and family (4 legged members included).
Patti leaves a huge legacy behind and will be missed so much. She was beautiful, strong, ornery, and so loving. The hole she leaves behind is felt deeply by all who knew and loved her. Patti had a close relationship with Jesus, and we all know she was met with a stampede of her beloved animals when she crossed into heaven. We will see you again, but we will miss you so much until that day comes.
Patti will be honored with a celebration of life in lieu of a funeral at a later time. If anyone would like to honor her memory, she would have loved for her friends to donate to animal advocacy organizations or horse rescue centers. Her love for animals was a huge part of the legacy she leaves behind.
The family will be hosting a Celebration of Life in honor of Patti at her family home 4910 Bergemann Rd. Pueblo, CO 81005 at 11am till 4pm. Please bring your stories and memories. Food will be provided.
