Patrick Joseph Brown, age 35, left this earth in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ, his Savior, on Monday, October 14, 2019. Patrick was born in Pueblo, Colorado, to Leslie and Patti Jo Brown on March 11, 1984. Patrick is survived by his father and mother, his sister Vicki Jo (Trevor) Walker, nieces Leslie Jo and Shania Myers, and Cristi Jo (Mark) Gannon, nieces Adelle Jolie and Camille Rose Gannon, his fiancée Mary Diane Souder, his aunt Shirley Cribari, and uncles Robert and Joseph Brown, many cousins, and his very special pet Miss Pugsley. Patrick had a special place in his heart for his extended family - the Mendricks and Karlingers.
Patrick - a loving person - cared deeply for others and went out of his way to serve the Lord by helping those in need. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ and whenever he had the opportunity to tell others of the goodness of the Lord, he made sure he did so. Patrick was a peacekeeper and his one wish was that everyone would love one another with an unconditional love that only Christ could give. His favorite sentence when anyone was hurting or upset was “Everything is going to be OK.”
Patrick’s greatest accomplishment in life was accepting the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. His second greatest accomplishment was receiving his Associates Degree in Applied Science for Automotive Technology, May 2017, from Pueblo Community College. His automotive skills were outstanding. Patrick’s accomplishments did not stop there. He could rebuild and repair almost anything from HVAC systems to sprinkler systems, home repairs, plumbing and electrical units, carpentry, and woodworking. He was an excellent artist with not only pencil but also mirror etching. It seemed as though there was nothing that Patrick was unable to do when he put his mind to it. Patrick began playing the trumpet at a very early age buying his first instrument at a yard sale for 25 cents. He went on to bless others by playing TAPS on his new trumpet along with his Pueblo West High School band instructor, Pat Smith, at a CSU - Pueblo Veterans Day event. Patrick played the mandolin and guitar beautifully as well. He loved fishing and hunting with his dad.
He is now in his heavenly home and has met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pat Brown - as he preferred to be called - will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him. Looking down from heaven I know he would tell us all “Everything is going to be OK.”
