Patricia Ann Burrell, 66. Patty passed away peacefully at St. Mary Corwin hospital in the presence of her husband, Tom and brother-in-law Dennis and sister-in-law Margaret on October 8, 2016. She was born on August 25, 1950 in Kemmerer, Wyoming to Rudolph and Garnett Motoh. She was sole mate and best friend to her husband for over 44 years. She graduated from Kemmerer High school in 1968 and Loretto Heights College in Denver in 1972. She and Tom were married in Denver on December 16, 1972. Patty worked primarily in banking until moving to Colorado Springs in 1979. The couple lived there until moving to Trinidad in 1989 and then later to Pueblo in 2004. She was an avid and accomplished quilter, always hand piecing and quilting all of her creations. She loved watching cooking shows and trying new recipes. Those that knew her quickly learned to never doubt her keen mind or her phenomenal memory. Patty was a proud member of PEO Chapter J in Trinidad for nearly 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and step mother Dorothy Motoh, and brother-in-law John Burrell. Patty is survived by her husband, sister Christine Rowland (Morgan) of Tucson, brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Margaret Burrell of Pueblo, and sister-in-law Ernestine Burrell of Littleton. At Patty’s request there will be no services. Cremation to take place at Imperial Funeral Home and Cemetery.
