Norbert A. Miller, 88, of Pueblo died February 19, 2023. Norbert was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on February 6, 1935, to Wilfred and Ida (Eskine) Miller. The family moved and lived in several different places before settling in Pueblo. He started his career as an electrician at the age of 18. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 12 for 70 years. He was the number one fan at all his grandchildren’s activities. He also loved his farm and raising champion racehorses.
He met the love of his life, Mona (Smith) Miller and they married on July 3, 1954. Together they had four children and built a life full of love and memories. He was a very hard worker and worked up until the day that he passed.
Preceded in death by his wife, Mona, of 61 years; his daughter, Diana Miller; his parents; Wilfred and Ida Miller, Brothers-in-law, Al Byers and Eugene Cozzolino. Father and Mother-in-Law: Levi and Katie Smith; Brother-in-law, Levi Smith and Sisters-in-law: Jerry Moran, Patricia Seufer, and Florence Bush.
Survived by his children; Danny (Melba) Miller, Danelle Weatherford, and Bert (Jodi) Miller. Grandchildren; Mitch, Ryan (Jamie), Katie, Reece (Emma), Peyton, Jennifer, and Kelsy. Great-grandchild; Stetson. Siblings; Wilfred (Connie) Miller, Dr. Annette Long-Byers, Beverly Cozzolino, Timothy (Kathi) Miller. Sister-in-law; Sara (Max) Dixon. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many good friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 11:00am at Imperial Funeral Home. Reception to follow at St. Joseph Hall located at 1145 S. Aspen Rd. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude.
