I light this candle in Mike's memory but also to let him know that he is not forgotten and still in our hearts.  One day we will meet again since we are believers of our Saviour Jesus Christ.  Mike, you inspired me even when you were struggling you never gave up.  You knew your priorities even if it meant humility.  I am thankful for social media and it's ability to connect others along the way otherwise I would not have come to know the special heart of you.  You have been gone awhile but not from the hearts and minds of those who love you.  Have peace and comfort knowing they love you and you have a part in that.

I light this candle in honor of you, Mike, my friend, my inspiration. Although it will never shine as bright as you. Rest easy my brother!

Mike, we will miss you.  You were an inspiration to me in highschool as we played football together.  I always enjoyed your humor and compassion for everyone.  In the recent days when I found out that you were a believer, I knew that 'death would have no sting'and that you are in heaven with The Lord because you invited Jesus Christ into your heart to be your Lord and savior. Mike was a great guy! He was someone I always looked up to in high school. It makes me so sad to lose him, but heaven definitely gained a great angel. May God bless his family...my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I didn't know Mike until high school. We played football together, caused our share of trouble and I even worked for Mike's dad as a summer job. I will always remember him for his toughness and compassion. He played hard and loved deeply. When I think of Mike it makes me smile. Family was important to Mike and he was always good to me. I am sorry for this loss and may he find peace.

So many memories of all of us growing up together. So sorry for the loss of Mike...may the joy-filled memories you have bring you smiles, even as tears fall. Praying you all feel the embrace of Father God, even as Mike enjoys Him now.

I went to community college with mike , it saddens me to hear of his passing.  I am encouraged to hear of his faith in God, and look forward to seeing him again.

I went to school with Mike.  I am glad to hear that he was serving God.  He will be missed and we pray comfort for all his family.

My deepest condolences to your family! Mike was a great guy! He coached me in bantam league and many years later did all the trim and woodwork in my new house! Very talented carpenter! He will be greatly missed!

Mike and I have been friends since childhood and We hadn't spoke in many years then I seen him at church. We began to talk about old times and where are lives are at now. Mike answered my questions about family friends and his medical conditions. He answered with his blunt but not rude way. Mike asked about my health problems and continued to ask. I thought he might be mocking me because after all he was sitting there with one leg that had been recently amputated. Mike continued to inquire about my family and I noticed he was real and his concern was genuine. Quickly it turned to our father God. Mike and I spent the rest of the time in true fellowship. Mike asked is there anything more important than a relationship with God? He knew the answer. Mike said something to the effect." Kent it's good to be in the family isn't it " I will always cherish our time together.

I m so sorry I remember him playing sports ... Hope he will not suffer in heaven hugs mike
