Mary Elizabeth “Mimi” Styduhar, 91, passed away December 23, 2012. She was preceded by her parents, Anton and Anna Styduhar; sister, Gladys Styduhar Neblick; and baby sister, Josephine. She is survived by her brother-in-law, James (Laura) Neblick, Sr. of Pueblo; nephew, James Neblick, Jr., also of Pueblo; and close cousin, Norma Jo Panion (Gilbert) Villalovas of Walsenburg. Mary Elizabeth graduated from Adams State College. She was a lifelong teacher. She taught elementary school in the Gardner area at a very young age, Hill School in Walsenburg and Washington School in Pueblo. She retired after more than 30 years of teaching. Mary Elizabeth was also actively involved with the Third Order of Saint Francis of Assisi. She was a long time member and past president of the Society at Holy Family Parish. Viewing will be 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church.
