Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, and watching Spanish movies, mass and above all else, family. Mary loved being a part of the New Mexico Reunion and Fiesta Committee working with all the queens and helping with the parade. She enjoyed all the friendships that came from these relationships, especially Mary Lou and Ray Martinez.
Mary's home was always open to family and friends. It made her heart happy to offer tamales, tortillas, or menudo. She was very warm, inviting and caring and all who knew her will miss her greatly.
Mary is predeceased by her dear Husband Jose G. Mendoza, son Paul Cabello and son-in-law Charlie Evans, grandchildren Paul Antonio Cabello Jr., Michael Valdez, Christopher I. Duran and Tommy Cabello, Jr., her parents; Cresencio and San Juanita "Jennie" Bravo; sisters; Josephine Olivas, Dorothy Dall, Elvira Casarez, Benita Bravo; brothers, Chris Bravo and Emilio Camargo.
Mary is survived by her children; Judy Evans, Angie (Bob Coble) Cabello, Tony (Nettie) Cabello, Dorothy C. (Louie) Arteaga, Christina Valdez, Tom (Theresa) Cabello, Sam (MaryJane) Cabello and Mike (Phyllis) Cabello, daughter in law Pat Cabello; Sisters; Isabelle Tienda and Margaret Sandoval, She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A rosary & visitation for Mary will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 9:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 421 Clark Street, Pueblo, Colorado 81003, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM. Procession will go from Mt. Carmel, past Mary's house on E.Orman Ave., and onto Roselawn Cemetery.
