Mary Ann Martinez

Mary Ann Martinez, 72, born January 9, 1947, went to be with God March 30, 2019. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Henry (Jerri) Borrego; granddaughter, Kristina Borrego; grandsons, Matthew and Nathan Borrego; and sister, Rita (Jose) Flores; brother, Charles (Kathy) Martinez; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary Ann grew up in Salt Creek and the Eastside; and worked as a phlebotomist for St. Mary-Corwin Hospital and various doctor offices in Pueblo and surrounding cities. She was a people person and enjoyed traveling, meeting new people, as well as seeing old friends and family. Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandkids. Mary Ann is preceded in death by her mother, Helen Martinez-Vroom and father, Henry “Moogie” Martinez. Mary Ann was a good mother and great sister and aunt. She will be missed by all. Per her request there will be no service and no viewing. She wanted everyone to remember her the way she was. Oh and one last note, Mom, I Love you; and I will see you later.
