Mitzi was born November 4, 1939, to Valentine and Rhoda Udovich in Morley, Colorado. Mitzi was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering strength. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will forever be treasured.
In 1956, Mitzi met the love of her life, Robert ‘Bob’ Evans. Mitzi's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories to her six children: Linda Murphy (Mike), Robert ‘Champ’ Evans, Jr., Lorri Kemp, Leah Pow (Steve), Bret Evans (Sheree), Bart Evans (Joyce), her fourteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure.
Mitzi is also survived by her sister: Helen Siegel and two brothers: Valentine Udovich, Jr. and Robert Udovich.
Mitzi is preceded in death by her parents: Valentine and Rhoda Udovich; husband: Robert ‘Bob’ Evans; son: Robert ‘Champ’ Evans, Jr.; sisters: Mae Udovich, Emma Giltner, Josie Kesner, Martha Warne, Katie Marshall.
In addition to her dedication to family and her beloved Cowboys, Mitzi had a passion for church, roofing, bowling, travel, and baseball. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A celebration of Mitzi's life will be held on, Friday, March 1, 2024 at 10:00 am at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pueblo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Joseph’s Parish Building Fund, in honor of Mitzi's generous spirit and caring nature.
May she rest in peace, knowing she was loved beyond measure and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
