Marjorie Mae Gardner, 94, of Pueblo, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Marjorie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Walter Gardner; and her bothers Jack Jefferson and Eddie Jefferson. Marjorie was born February 23, 1925, in Cañon City. She is survived by daughters, Marjorie Lynn Forister, Diana Rae Troute and son, Dennis Walter (Vickie) Gardner; six grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Marjorie was a life time member of both, Order of the Amaranth Laurel Ct. #16 and Order of the Eastern Star Pueblo Chapter 7 as well as FCC. She was a member of the Central Christian Church and loved to sing. She worked during World War II as a telephone operator and worked for a short while at the Belmont Duckwall store. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, enjoying crafts, sewing, gardening and fishing. Her Celebration of Life will be held Friday April 5th, at Imperial Funeral Home, viewing at 6:00 p.m. followed by the Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m.
