Maria Lena Vigil

Lena Vigil, 92, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt to numerous nieces, and nephews, passed away peacefully at home, on June 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Lena was born in Rainsville, New Mexico to the parents of Felimon and Emelinda Pacheco, and she was united in marriage to Alfred Vigil. As a lifelong catholic, Lena was a consecrated widow, and a devoted member of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity.

Lena was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; Mother, Emelinda; Father, Felimon; Brothers, Felimon (Pachecito) and John; Sisters, Lupita, Flora, and Betty.

Lena is survived by her Son, Al; Daughters, Hope and Brenda (Bobby); Grandsons, Vincent (Roxie) and Richard (Suzie); Granddaughters, Angelica (Nicky), Yvonne, and Megan (Andy); her great grandchildren, Aiden and Ryker; Brothers, Tony, and Joseph (Margo); Sisters, Evelyn, Sister Maria Teresa, Lorraine (Tom), Simonita, and Bertha (Eleazar); Godson's, Lewis Powell, Anthony Sanchez and Louie Pacheco; Goddaughter, Maria Sanchez, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at St. Mary Catholic Church, 217 E. Mesa Avenue, Pueblo, CO 81006. Viewing/Visitation will be held before mass begins from 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Serving as Casket Bearers: Vincent Vigil, Roxie Vigil, Angelica Vigil, Kino Herrera, Andy Adair, and Thomas French.

Interment follows at the Imperial Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5450 CO-78, Pueblo, CO 81005.
