Madelyn Alice Moore, 93, of Centralia, Illinois, passed away at her Pueblo, Colorado home with loved ones on March 23, 2023. Madelyn moved to Colorado with her family, when she was thirteen for the health of her younger brother. She attended several schools and graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo, CO.
She loved word search puzzles and was working on a book when she passed.
She was an office manager at several businesses in Pueblo, forming lasting relationships. In her spare time she would make different wares to sell at craft shows that she attended with her daughter Lynda and friends. She was known for her knitted baby sets and she even won second place at the Colorado State Fair one year for them. She enjoyed watching her stories and Hallmark movies, Nascar races, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Colorado Rockies.
She was a jokester and always had a funny quip with a glean in her eyes as well as supportive words for anyone ready to listen. As funny as she was, she was equally giving and reliable and attended every school function, celebration and holiday that she could. She will be remembered for her strength, confidence, and thoughtfulness and loving nature.
We will miss her and always hold her memory close to us.
Left to treasure her memory; daughter, Lynda Moore; granddaughter, Tina (Heath) Pratt-Cornella; great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Lillie, Caitlin, Ashton, Caleb (Alicia) and Jared Grayson (Sierra) ; great-great grandchildren, Alearic, Akilah, and Ahkaylia and many other family members.
She is preceded in death by; her parents, siblings and other family members.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday April 17th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 Hwy 78 West, Pueblo, CO 81005, and graveside committal to follow the service in the garden of Vesperland.
