Lucy A. Battles, age 89, passed away June 20, 2021 at 11:44 PM in her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 19, 1932 in Tererro New Mexico to John and Salvina Byrd. She was proceeded in death by her husband Walter F. Battles.
Lucy had an enormous heart and welcomed everyone with open arms. She had a laugh that was contagious and would brighten any room. She was a member of New Heights Baptist Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed Crocheting, Cooking, Baking and Word Search.
To cherish her memory she leaves 5 children: Walter S. Battles, James L. Battles, Robert N. Battles (Barbara). Dottie L. Pulsifer and Laura A. Reese. Six Grandchildren: Walter Battles, Cindy Battles, Nathan Ward (Chanda), Amanda Battles, Chris Reese, and Michael Reese. She also leaves behind 5 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation Tuesday June 29, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm at Imperial Funeral Home. Funeral Service Wednesday June 30, 2021 at 2PM at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel with Internment to follow in Imperial Gardens Cemetery.
