Linda Louise (Libhart) Tremblay, daughter of Clair John Libhart and Helen Esther (McCorkle) Libhart was born on February 8th 1949 in Brighton, CO and passed from this world on Monday September 19th 2022, age 73 years, 7 months, and 11 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and life partner, Alice L Winans. She is survived by her brothers, Richard L Libhart and James E Libhart; her children, Rodney S (Stephanie) Clark and Jennifer L Jaco; her seven grand children Kaylie R (Ryan) Hochhalter, Alex R Jaco, Ellise M Clark, Amber R (Isai Montes) Jaco, Rachel K (Anahi Mondragon) Jaco, Stephen A Clark, and Brenna M Clark ; as well as great-granddaughter, Melanie Rae; and a lifetimes worth of chosen family. Linda was a staple in the Pueblo community. She studied locally and graduated from South High School in 1967 as well as Southern Colorado State College (now CSUP) in 1976. She won many awards for her work with Harrison School District Two, she returned home to write grants for Pueblo Community College, served on the board for the Bessemer Historical Society and Steelworks Center of the West, served on the board for Steel City Theatre Company, worked with local politics, and most recently was active with the Pueblo Food Project. Linda was passionate about the arts, preserving history, and accessibility to education for all.
