Survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, George Vigil. Children Geoffrey ( Shelly) Vigil, Jacqueline Vigil, Jennifer Torres, Stacey (Tanya) Vigil. Grandchildren: Misty & Mindy Vigil, Jeremy, Sammy & Alysia Martinez, Amanda (Donald) Beecraft, Tyler Torres, Kayci & Dante Vigil. Great Grandchildren: Alyssa, Dominic, Cidnee, Donovan, Shia, Eden, Watson, and a treasured addition on the way. Precious sisters Sara Salazar and Josie (Fred) Cordova. Numerous God children and friends dear to her heart. Many nieces and nephews that she was so proud of- always a glitter in her eye when she spoke of them.
The proud farm girl attended Adams State College where she met the love of her life and earned a BA in Education. She valued learning and sharing that love with her students and family. It was rewarding to see others succeed knowing she had an impact on their accomplishments. Be it in a classroom, life skill or spiritual realm she will forever be a teacher. Retirement from Pueblo City Schools allowed her to enjoy time to travel, garden, sew, camp, golf and most importantly be with family, friends and serving her Lord at Holy Family Parish.
Family and celebration were the highlights of her life. Any gathering with loved ones was cherished. Family reunions, camping trips, holiday celebrations, or a simple shared meal brought so much joy.
Lila will be forever loved and deeply missed by all those she leaves behind. Celebrate her life with love, music and dancing with those close to your heart.
Preceded in death by her parents Pablo & Desideria Lopez, siblings: Elefego (Berlinda) Lopez, Juan (Ruth) Lopez, Pablo (Angie) Lopez, Gilbert (Rosemary) Lopez, Stella (Flaminio) Cisneros, Edward (Bertina) Lopez, Ruby (Victor) Romero, and brother-in-law Ray Salazar.

Funeral Service at Holy Family Parish, Friday, December 9, 2022, 10:00 am. Followed by interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
