Lester Day, 93, passed away peacefully March 25, 2018. Leaving behind his wife Wanda Day; son and daughters; Danny Day (Darla) from Grand Junction; Floyd Day (Rita) Pueblo; Jesse Medina (Delores) Commerce City; Darlene McKenna (Patrick) Lafayette; Jay Day, Pueblo; William Wilson (Ginger) Pueblo; Michael Wilson (Wong) Junction City, Kansas; Sheila Trujillo (Bob) Pueblo; Dixie Evel (Dave) Pueblo. Lester retired from CF&I. He was a decorated World War II vet. He enjoyed his retirement by hobby farming, and taking trips to Cripple Creek. One of his fondest memories was his Honor Flight trip to Washington D.C. to see the World War II Memorial. Lester enjoyed his daily cup of coffee at his favorite coffee shop T’s Bar. A visitation will be held at Imperial Funeral Home from 4-7 pm on Wednesday March 28th, 2018. Funeral Services will be help at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel Thursday March 29th at 2 pm.
