Kurt Raymond Muckel

Kurt Raymond Muckel went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2022. He was born January 16, 1949 in Wayne, Ne. He lived in Pueblo, Colorado most of his life. Gold Canyon, Az. was his winter residence for 15 years & his full time residence since 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife Debra (Lewis) Muckel who was his partner in life for 54 years; son Kent Muckel (Alison) of Castle Pines, Colorado; daughter Kelly Muckel of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren Taylor & Kyle Muckel; sister Jana Magdalany; brother Kent R. Muckel. He is preceded in death by his parents Mary and Raymond and sister Kay Davis.

Kurt enjoyed hunting especially pheasant hunting trips with his son, grandson, brother & friends. He was also an avid fisherman and loved driving his boat. His favorite lake was Eleven Mile Reservoir where he was able to boat & fish this past June. Kurt was proud to be part of the Target Distribution Center start-up and retired as the Regional Transportation Manager. He highly valued his coworkers & friends there. He didn’t relish retirement but did enjoy taking many trips with Deb, family and friends. He loved his pets but most important to him was his family. He was so very proud of each one and all their many accomplishments.

Memorial Service will be held at Imperial Gardens Chapel at 11:30, September 16, 2022 with a Celebration of Life luncheon to follow at the Praying Hands Hall. Donations may be made to charity of choice or plant a tree at a living tribute.org.
