Juanita D Ramirez, 80, passed away peacefully and pain free Friday, July 14, 2023 while in hospice care in Pueblo CO. She was the wife of Noe D Ramirez; and, they shared 65 years of marriage together.
Born in Rocky Ford, CO, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Chavez) Cortinez and Espiridion Diaz Sr. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Colorado.
She enjoyed quilting, needlepoint, cross stitch, crochet, watercolor painting, cooking and baking. She will be remembered for a beautifully bright and vivacious demeanor, and lots of laughter. Everyone depended on Juanita for encouragement, advice, and the best cherry cheese cake, sugar cookies, and tamales. Her family looked forward to all the baked goods and tamales during the Christmas holidays.
Juanita is survived by her husband Noe, her children, Juanita, Martha, Mario (Wendy), and Juan (Nanci). Three granddaughters, six grandsons, nine great granddaughters, ten great grandsons, one great great granddaughter and three great great grandsons.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10am at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo CO. Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Thursday, July 20, 2023.
