I have a lot of personal and special memories of Reuben, he had such a strong personality, and character. What I remember are private memories of Reuben growing up with him that will remain with me. I was very lucky to have had him in my life. And Reuben will be missed. Growing up  Reuben and I were quite close. His mother and my mother were close sisters, so we understood each other. As we grew older we joined the military. I admired him for that.  He prided himself in his uniform, he wasn’t just a person, he was such a good person, And he was. He was still down to earth  as ever. If you saw him outside his fatigues, he would look like just another person from Pueblo, he never took for granted what he accomplished, I’m very proud of him. My cousin, My brother.
