Joretta Mae Allen

Joretta Mae Allen, 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Born in Brandon, CO, she was the daughter of Howard and Mae Giltner. She worked at Pueblo Youth Center as a youth counselor for 11 years. She enjoyed baking, skydiving, platform jumping, traveling, elephants and time with family. She will be remembered for being the most loving, caring, kind and funny individual.

Joretta is survived by her 6 children: Randy (Sharon), Vicki (Cliff), Willie, Brenda (Randy), Jodie and Rick; 7 grandchildren: Natosha (Josh), Alicia (David), Jennifer (Tommy), Nick, Jonathan, Ashlee (Dulce) and Caitlin (Patrick); and 4 great-grandchildren: Logan, Layla, Brooklyn and Bryce.

Joretta’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 1:00pm at Imperial Funeral Home, 5450 Hwy 78 W, Pueblo CO 81005, with burial to take place directly after. Funeral attendees are asked to wear bright and happy colors at Joretta's request.
