John D. Plutt, 56, passed away November 22, 2013 after a short, valiant battle with Leukemia. He was born December 8, 1956 in Pueblo to John W. and Helen Plutt. He graduated in 1975 from Central High School and in 1979 from the University of Southern Colorado. At the time of his death, John was employed by Colorado Bingo. He is survived by his children, Cassey Plutt (Eric Henderson), Henderson, Nevada, and Tiffany, Mariah, and Kason Plutt of Colorado Springs; sister, Debbie (John) Anderson, Trinidad, CO; niece, nephew, cousins, and a host of dear friends. John was the cornerstone of his family, which was the most important thing in his life. Holiday celebrations were always long and happy times. He was the strength in every crisis and the light in every storm. He taught his family honesty, responsibility, and humility. No greater gifts could he have given. We will miss his laugh, his wicked sense of humor and the twinkle in his eyes. Special thanks to his friends at Colorado Bingo, the staff at St. Mary-Corwin 4700 and ICU, and all of his doctors, especially Dr. Pacheco. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m., (Eulogy 9:45 a.m.), Monday, November 25, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Church. In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences at www.georgemccarthyfuneralhome.com.
