Johnnie Wellington Pilcher, 76, sadly passed away on January 1, 2019, surrounded by loving family after a long illness. He was born October 11, 1942, to Ella Ruth and Raymond Pilcher, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his sister, Ruth Ann Kling.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Mary (Rogers) Pilcher of 30+ years, and his children of blended family, Willie Pilcher, Sandra (Bruce) Ryan, Rand Torres, Tonnette (Richard) Robinson, Shamaine Cunningham and Preston Torres, who have all blessed him with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
John loved to watch old western movies and football, especially the Denver Broncos. He enjoyed many adventures in his younger years such as fishing, camping, windsurfing, restoring classic cars, travel, and skiing, he taught his kids and most of his grandchildren how to ski. He loved to dance to country western music. He had a terrific sense of humor and loved to tease. He was a gentle soul with a big heart. He touched the lives of all he met and will be missed by all.
