John W. Jaynes

John W. Jaynes, 87, passed away July 3, 2020. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Ara Edith Jaynes; children Jerry W (Debi) Jaynes, Wesley A (Cheryl) Jaynes, and Daniel D. (Jamie) Jaynes; grandchildren Karen (Jeremy) Rochester, Thomas J Jaynes, Justin W. Jaynes, Rebecca L. (David Weaver) Jaynes, Daniel E. Jaynes, Morgan (John) Garcia, Dylan Jaynes, Olivia Jaynes, and Derek Jaynes and 10 great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his sister Ruthie Wisdom. John was preceded in death by his parents William and Hazel Jaynes. He served 4 years in the US Air Force as an Airman 1st Class. He then worked at CF&I for 28 years, Pueblo County in maintenance for 10 years, and finally as a greeter at Walmart for 10 years. He was a member of Majestic Baptist Church and was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He will be sadly missed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family serve will be held. Interment at Imperial Memorial Gardens.
