Joe Kaplan, 85, passed away Dec. 7, 2012. Survived by his wife, Helen; children, George (Ginny) Kaplan and Shari (Joe) Pagnotta; grandchildren, Joeilyn Pagnotta, Michael (Julie) Kaplan, Brandon (Danielle) Kaplan, and Ryan and Matthew Pagnotta; great-grandchildren, Brayden and Parker Kaplan; niece, Lorraine (Leno) Nogare; special friends, Don and Julie McCall; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Joe retired from CF&I Steel, and then worked for many years delivering food for School District 60. Viewing, 4 – 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Wed., St. Mary Church. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery.
