Janet M. Wasson, 71. Born February 16, 1946 and passed May 3, 2017. Janet was preceded by her parents, James and Betty Strong; aunt, Lillian Covillo; and grandparents. Survived by her husband, George; daughters, Jennifer (Sean) Tibbs of Pueblo West, Renee (Rob) Perez of Roseville, CA; step daughter, Michelle (James) Baca of Pueblo; siblings, James (Deb) Strong of Denver, Joe Strong of Denver, John (Becky) Strong of Ft. Collins, Jeanine (Dan) Erickson of Tustin, CA. Several members of the Wasson family are left to cherish Janet’s memory also. Mother-in-law, Ruth Wasson of Council Bluffs, IA; brothers-in-law, Dennis Wasson of Omaha, NE and Larry (Carolyn) Wasson of Tempe, AZ.; sister-in-law Marta (Darrell) Davis of Lavista, NE. Seven grandchildren are part of this blended family; Taryn and Nicholas Tibbs; Carson and Sophia Perez; Thomas, Hope, and Faith Baca. To most of them Janet was known as Nonna. Per her request there will be no viewing. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Rest in peace sweet Nonna.
