Gilbert said “ Will go golfing if the weather is dry and 42 degrees or over, otherwise stay home and thaw out”.   My brother in law and my best man!   I miss Gil. His craft as a master machinist was at a higher level , that he achieved.   Gil’s love for Rose ( his princess ) was amazing.  Gil’s delite was sharing about her desires that made her happy.  It was nice to hear about a man talk about the kindness Rose impact on Gil’s  life.   I don’t hear much now about this kind of relationship these days.   Perhaps, I can be a better man to my wife. 
           I miss you Gil Moore, your friend Pete.

Gilbert was my friend, 2nd dad and mentor. He taught me so much about tools, golf, fishing and customizing knives. Hardly a day goes by that I don’t use a tool or knowledge that came from Gilbert.  He was always busy doing something. He wasn’t the kind of guy that could stay still for long. I remember our many fishing trips. We stayed at a cabin by the Gunnison river. Gilbert and I would try to be the first one awake. The early bird caught the big fish. I have so many memories of Gilbert. I hope he and Dianna are at the best golf course in heaven. ❤️

A master machinist you are Gil, the tools you repaired and enjoyed fixing or building, the mastered craftsmanship with high profiled knifes and the beauty so many have enjoyed. Now golf, when you and I played, we did not win any tournaments, however, you became very good and enjoyed this very much and placed and won tournaments
throughout your golf career, way to ace them golf days. Thank you for being my best man during the wedding ceremony for Marie and I ( Marie is Rose only sister).  Enjoy your journey my friend and brother in Law.

While only being in the family 9 years,  it didn't take but the first meeting  to know how special of a man Gilbert was.  Always always kind,  funny and thoughtful. He truly loved his family more than anything. He wanted to get better so he could take care of his wife and love of his life, Rosie. But God had other plans for Gilbert.
He will be forever missed by all who knew him.

As far as I remember Uncle Gil was always happy and loved talking about craftsmanship and golf. What a wonderful life he has lived, and his mother was the best card player ever.

Vicky took this picture in 2015 while visiting Pueblo. One thing about going to Grandma’s you were almost always going to see some other family.

I always liked this picture of my dad and uncles and Matthew photobombing the picture. 
Gilbert was always nice to me and my family. He was creative, unique and generous. When MTV was new and he had the big satellite him and my aunt would let me watch MTV for hours, painted my first car, made great knives and was always ready to laugh!

Gilbert was kind, witty, humorous and one of the most generous people you could meet.  
You and Dianna can now golf on.  🌈🦋💋
