Federico “Fred” Jimenez, 86, went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2016. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose. He is survived by his children, Linda (Dean) Hopkins, Paul Jimenez, and Michael (Vonette) Jimenez; grandchildren, Deanna (Marc) Towne, Michael, Christopher, Michelle and Shasta,; step-granddaughters, Tasha and Paige; special friend, Alice Garduno; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and godchildren. Fred’s favorite pastime was gambling. He never met a slot machine he didn’t like. Through his life he also enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing, skiing and traveling. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Naval Reserve Seabees. Memorial Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 27, 2016, at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will follow the service.
