Erica loved all people she came in contact with. Her heart was bright and joyful. She always had a smile and hug for all; no matter how much hurt she was carrying of her own. She was an avid fan of the Denver Nuggets. She loved music, the mountains, walking with her best friend, Jaxon, around Cattail Pond in Pueblo West. She loved making banana bread on Saturday mornings.
Erica graduated from Pueblo Centennial in 2000. After high school, she went to college and obtained her Associate of Arts Applied Science for Dental Assisting. She worked for many dentists in the Pueblo area. While attending college, she was a waitress at Manhattans Pizza. Again, having a heart of gold, she befriended a homeless man and always brought him in and bought him a slice of pizza and a soda. Many times, while she was out doing errands, she would see him and go into the Loaf N’ Jug and come out with food and a drink for him. Erica’s most recent employment was as a customer service representative for Budget Insurance, where her boss and coworkers never gave up on her.
Erica is survived by parents, Gerald and Susan; brother Cory; boyfriend Mario; grandma Joann, pets Jaxon, Stella, and Bella; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
In her death, she still gave life, to two people through organ donation.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2pm at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd, Pueblo, Colorado, 81008.
