Emily was born in Pueblo, Colorado to the union of Louie and Alice Olguin. She attended Pueblo East High School. Later in life, she went on to work for Pueblo District 60 Schools, where she was a School Bus Driver for many years. Cookie had multiple joys in life; some of which included Yahtzee, her hill, playing cards, trips to Cripple Creek, and a love of being surrounded by family and friends.
Emily is survived by her husband, Arthur Madril; Children, Nanette (John) Soto, Mike (Michelle) Madril, Renee (Rich) Barrera, Paul (Cindy) Madril; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jackie, Mckayla, Jessica, Raelyn, Marissa, Mariah, Madison, Bella, Tristan, Mateo, Maleah, Morgan, Preston and Savanna; Eighteen Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Liz (Orlando) Pineda; Brother, Leroy; And life-long friends, Geri and Martin.
A funeral service for Emily will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 7th at Imperil Funeral Home.
