Dwayne Huffman passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones September 25, 2023.
Born July 17, 1935 in Cimerron, Kansas, he was the youngest of three children born to parents Richard LaVerne Huffman and Cathel (Ousley) Huffman.
He is preceded in death by parents Richard LaVerne Huffman and Cathel (Ousley) Huffman, his loving wife Barbara (Ketchum) Huffman and his older siblings Delores Darlene Huffman (McCrory), and Delvin Lee Huffman.
Dwayne retired from The Colorado Department of Transportation in 1995. He enjoyed golfing and was on many bowling leagues from the 1970s to the present year. He will be missed by so many family and friends.
He leaves behind his four children Dennis (Virginia), Richard (Ramona), Diane, Doug (Julie). Grandchildren Geri (Alfredo), Janice, Kevin, Jennifer (Allen) Root, Ryan (Jennifer), Steven and Brett Medina, Aubrey (Gregg) Schipp. Tara, Cammi.
His services will be viewing at Imperial Funeral Home Monday October 2, 2023 from 4-6pm, and Funeral Service is Tuesday October 3, 2023 at 11:00am in the chapel with lunch to follow the burial. In lieu of flowers a donation to St Jude Children's Research Hospital is appreciated.
