David “Sonny” Kyle, 68, passed away June 15, 2012. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Kathy Kyle; children Miranda (Jim) Drake, Lee (Laura) Nelson, Kevin (Michelle) Nelson; grandchildren Kyla Drake, Katelyn Drake, CJ Drake, Matthew “Little Buddy” Nelson; and a great grandson Kenneth; sister Barbara (John) Sullivan and Katherine (Ben) Pile. Sonny is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and his lifelong friends Sophie and Jerry Ruskin and Phil and Levina Robertson. Sonny was preceded in death by his parents David and Mary Kyle and his nephew Donald Craig. He retired from Black Hills Energy in 2006. He is a car enthusiast, was past president and vice president of VMCCA and a member of the Canon City Car Club. At his request, there will be no viewing. Rosary will be Tuesday 10:30 with funeral mass to follow both at St. Joseph Church. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
