March 17, 2015. Daniel is survived by his two daughters Marlee and Amya Sims, their mother Kaire
Gallegos, his brother David Sims, mother Linda Thrall, father and step-mother Steve and Charlene Sims,
his grandparents Ellen and Allen Thrall, and other family and friends who dearly loved him.
We will all miss Daniel as he had such a special place in each of our hearts. His love for his family and
friends was foremost. He loved his daughters, Marlee and Amya, with all of his heart and often told them
that he loved them “to the moon and back.” As the focal point of his life they gave him happiness and
purpose. He focused on providing for his children and keeping them safe. He was a great father to those
two girls.Daniel was a gifted and talented man. Since he was a young boy he loved to draw, and that love and
skill grew and developed throughout the years. He was a creative individual that applied himself to many
different passions. Among these were creating wooden sculptures, painting, fishing, hiking, climbing,
skydiving, and other outdoor activities. He took pride in his work building and remodeling homes. He
was a gifted young man and loved working with his hands.Daniel’s life had a great impact on many people. His family and friends will have a lasting memory of his involvement in their lives and he will be greatly missed by all that loved him. We will carry his memory
in our hearts forever.
