Curtis Walter Lewis Robinson III, lovingly known as “Curry”, “Cool Curtis” and “Curtis with a K”. He left this life Monday, October 13, 2014. Born December 18, 1966 in Rockford, Ill. He attained his Associates Degree at ITT Technical College and had a long career as a Computer Field Technician. He played semi-pro football for the Minnesota Lumberjacks, and won the Championship Game in 1997. He was an avid fan of NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, #24, and a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, never to miss a game. Although a tough disciplinarian, he dearly loved and was extremely passionate about his family. He is preceded in death by his father Curtis W.L. Robinson; and brother Michael D. Robinson. Curtis is the son of mother Verna O. Robinson of Pueblo; father of Koraya Robinson of Denver, Camillia Robinson of Aurora, AJ Acres (brother of Koraya and Camillia); brother of Andre Q. (Lucretia) Robinson of Pueblo, Derwin S. (Wanda) Robinson of Waco, TX, Mark D. (Belinda) Robinson of Seattle, WA; grandfather of Jamahal A. Waits Jr. He brought joy to every life that he touched and therefore will be truly missed and never forgotten by all of his nieces, nephews, family and friends.
